being teachers and learners

(This is Donna) Amazingly we have been here only 72 hours and yet have we ever enjoyed myriad wonders. Yes, the sunset was fabulous, the food delectable and our teaching experiences rich, but the real wonders have been the people we have met!

Meet Filese (in the pic below along with Raquel and Betsy), as we did at the English club that meets in our hotel. A delightful young woman who happens to be an English teacher herself. A group of workers here sponsors these conversation nights as a way to meet Turks and direct them to the One who loves them and desires to know them. Filese was enamored with the young women from our team and actually took a group of us out for tea by the seaside. Of course, her being typical of many hospitable Turks, she treated us all and we are looking forward to returning the favor as she joins us Saturday for a trip on the Bosporus with many others interested in continuing their English studies. The extended time will allow for us to share more of our stories, including our spiritual stories.

Some new friends to remember to the Father -
Sennur Ilke
John
Faruk
Seda
Tamer

Thanks so much for standing in the gap for us as we are all the more aware of the need for it daily.

Seviyoruz (We love you!)
