Today we began our work of teaching the Turks English. Our pupils ranged from young children to adults, with varying degrees of fluency. It is encouraging to know that a few of the children, who our teams have worked with in the past, have improved significantly since last year! However, the most encouraging aspect of our work is to realize that through teaching this young generation, they will someday be able to acquire better jobs and become more integrated into world commerce with their ability to speak English and hopefully help them overcome some of the persecution they face because of their faith.
As our bodies grow physically tired and our minds become emotionally spent, we call on the Father to continuously provide us with His divine strength. We thank Him for continuously refreshing our spirit and revealing His awesome power to us through our experiences. He has also reminded us that He is a pursuer, among all His people in every nation.
